This talk will explore spirituality taken from the monastery into the world. Through work in the prison system and with dying people, social and political activism, and a commitment to environmental responsibility, she looks at three aspects of spirituality:
- spirituality of social action addressing structural violence
- spirituality of service addressing direct and indirect suffering
- spirituality of conscience and conscientiousness.
