Occupy: "Protester" is "Person of the Year"

US-based Time Magazine (TIME.com) has recognized unprecedented change [on Wall Street, Zuccotti Park, and] in the Middle East and elsewhere around the world by naming "The Protester" as its Person of the Year.

In an article Wednesday, Time said the protest movement is largely populated by disenfranchised youth frustrated with a lack of political power and a flailing economy.

In the Middle East, protests beginning in Tunisia and spreading to Egypt, Yemen, and Libya resulted in changes in government. We are not leaving Iraq. We are "pulling out" but staying behind in the world's largest US embassy, military base, and private contractor hangout. And B.S. Obama is not vetoing the "indefinite detention without a trial" bill he promised to. Now it is 1984. Happy Bill of Rights Day!
