Buddhist Temple Yoga (California)

Learn to relax. Manage stress. Build self-esteem. Practice deep healing for day to day wellbeing. Starting Saturday, January 23, in the San Fernando Valley, a monk will be teaching a unique combination of meditation, yoga, and healing techniques. Classes teach basic principles integrating alignment, energetic-breathing (pranayama), and meditation using cutting edge instructions for these entertaining and educational classes.

Yoga for Wellbeing

  • Cost: No class fees. Only donations.
  • Taught by a Buddhist monk with 21 years of experience.
  • All levels. All ages (with special classes for children).
  • Dress code: Comfortable fitness clothes. No shorts.

Instructor: Ven. Shantha Sobhana (shanthasobhana@gmail.com) has 21 years of experience in meditation and healing and over 10 years experience in practicing yoga, with international experience in a number of countries including India, United Kingdom, China, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka.
