Visiting Buddhist Monk to teach meditation in Las Vegas
(Aug. 26, 2009) - Sri Lankan Buddhist monk Bhante Sujatha will be in Las Vegas this weekend teaching Buddhist meditation, giving Dharma talks, holding private counseling sessions, and hosting Taste of Sri Lanka, a fundraiser to help establish a temple in Las Vegas.

Ven. Sujatha is the founder and spiritual leader of the Blue Lotus Temple in Crystal Lake, Illinois. He teaches meditation and Buddhist philosophy designed for today’s American culture. “[He] believes in change, rather than tradition, particularly when dealing with life in our fast-paced Western society,” reports bluelotustemple.com. (That may be just what Las Vegas needs). More>>
